Chief Privacy Officer

Bright Horizons, a global provider of employer-sponsored child care, early education, and family support services, is hiring a Chief Privacy Officer to serve as the central authority for the organization's privacy program. The CPO manages risks related to information privacy laws and compliance regulations across the company's multinational operations, owning privacy decisions and protecting the interests of families, employees, and clients.

The role sits within the company's governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) function and partners closely with Legal, Information Security, and the global privacy team. Responsibilities include setting privacy strategy, overseeing compliance with applicable data protection laws, and leading a team of privacy professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of GRC, IT, or privacy experience at a large, multinational organization in a highly regulated industry
• At least 3 years of dedicated privacy experience
• Minimum 3 years of professional people-management experience
• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or CISSP highly desirable
