IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Customer Support/Information Security)

This vacancy is for a GS - 2210 - 12, IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Customer Support/Information Security) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, C5ISC COMMAND CONTROL and NAVIGATION PRODUCT LINE in PORTSMOUTH, Virginia. Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Applying cybersecurity principles, security protocols, risk management concepts, and information assurance practices to support information systems and services. Identifying, assessing, documenting, and mitigating cybersecurity and supply chain risks to protect information systems, support mission requirements, and improve operational resilience. Collaborating with customers, contractors, technical teams, and stakeholders to coordinate service delivery, resolve issues, and achieve mission objectives.
