You will serve as a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist in the Voyage Repair Team (VRT), Fleet Readiness Center of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preforming some or all of the following duties: 1) Ensuring the quality and reliability in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) catapult and arresting gear system maintenance and overhaul processes aboard aircraft carriers, air capable ships and shore facilities; 2) Leading an ALRE maintenance organization that includes conducting in-house audits, overseeing quality control processes, analyzing data, and developing strategies or policies to achieve higher quality; 3) Interpreting statistical quality data that can depict the quality performance level of various critical processes; 4) Analyzing and interpreting Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure personnel, processes, procedures, and other resources meet ISO 9001, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, and other applicable standards; 5) Interfacing with customers and stakeholders to convey requirements and receive feedback on team performance.
