VP of Data and AI

Lyra Health is hiring a VP of Data and AI to lead its data and AI organization. A core part of the role is establishing data governance policies, data quality standards, and ethical AI practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the company.

The VP recruits and leads teams of data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers; oversees the architecture and maintenance of scalable data platforms (data warehouse, data lake, ML/AI infrastructure); and drives the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects from ideation through deployment. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations leaders to embed data and AI capabilities into core products. This is a full-time remote position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in AI, ML, data science, or data engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership (Sr Director/VP)
• Deep expertise in modern data architecture and cloud data platforms (ideally AWS) and warehousing (ideally Snowflake)
• Experience establishing data governance policies, data quality standards, and ethical AI practices
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
