AI Governance & Compliance Manager

Cengage Group is seeking an AI Governance & Compliance Manager to define, implement, and monitor AI frameworks that ensure safe, responsible, and compliant software and content development usage across its international learning platforms. This position acts as the core operational owner of the enterprise AI posture, translating corporate tech strategy into clear safeguards and policy boundaries while partnering directly with Legal, Product, and Information Security leadership.

Qualifications

• Develop, scale, and enforce internal AI usage policies, risk standards, and automated control frameworks across business units.
• Monitor institutional compliance tracking parameters across highly visible digital learning models and enterprise software acquisitions.
• Engage directly with security, data privacy, and legal stakeholders to evaluate algorithmic risks, system bias, and data protection boundaries.
• Translate emerging technical AI regulations, statutory mandates, and compliance metrics into workable roadmaps for engineering pipelines.
