About the Team The Compliance team at Paxos plays a vital role in ensuring the company adheres to global regulatory standards across financial products and services. This team tackles complex challenges such as AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring, all while ensuring a robust compliance framework in a rapidly evolving crypto and fintech landscape. By safeguarding Paxos against regulatory risks, the team is essential in helping the company achieve its mission of creating a more transparent and efficient financial ecosystem. The Opportunity The Compliance Investigations Manager will lead the execution of core compliance objectives, including financial crime investigations and regulatory reporting. In addition to operational leadership, the Compliance Investigations Manager will play a key role in driving strategic compliance initiatives aimed at strengthening Paxos’ financial crime prevention framework. This includes contributing to the design and execution of long-term compliance strategies, enhancing investigative processes through automation and analytics, and ensuring the program evolves in step with regulatory expectations and business innovation. What You'll Do Oversee implementation of operational objectives of the Compliance Investigations program Scale the compliance operations investigations team to support business growth in line with sustainable risk management and compliance support Manage and develop key metrics to determine the health of the compliance investigations program Oversee end-to-end investigations on a range of cases triggered from KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics. Lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth within Compliance Operations Evaluate ongoing technology
