You will serve as a RISK MANAGER in the Operations Department, Code 300, Operations Planning Manager, Code 300.1 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with risk management for complex naval ship and submarine overhaul, repair, and conversion. Experience utilizing management information systems and databases to collect metrics, analyze operational data, apply fact-finding techniques, and provide executive-level assessments and recommendations. Experience utilizing quantitative analysis and advanced evaluative methods to assess risks and develop comprehensive solutions for complex challenges impacting cost, schedule, technical quality, and environmental/safety. Experience advising senior management on the acceptance, mitigation, transfer, or avoidance of operational risks.
