Corporate Policy Officer and Communications Security (COMSEC) Auditor - Experienced Level (Maryland)

Policy underpins all of NSA/CSS and the U.S. Signals Intelligence enterprise. NSA/CSS is looking for individuals with experience in researching laws and policy spanning the U.S. Government, including the Department of War and Office of Director of National Intelligence issuances. If you have knowledge and skills to interpret law and policy, the ability to coordinate with a wide-array of experts, and writing ability to codify delegated authorities in policy.

Qualifications: The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Relevant experience must be performing policy related work in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying (e.g., regulatory, national and foreign security, budget and public finance) within the government or as a government contractor. Senior level: must also have project management or formal/informal leadership experience. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. SENIOR Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
