GRC Careers is built to be used by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of our governance, not an afterthought, because a platform that talks about inclusion has to practice it.
1. The standard we hold ourselves to
We design and test this platform against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the benchmark used by accessibility law and by the organizations our users work for, and it is the bar we hold ourselves to.
2. What we do
- Built for screen readers. Pages use semantic structure, real headings, landmark regions, and descriptive labels, so a screen reader can navigate them in order and announce what matters.
- Keyboard first. Every link, button, and form on the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are. A "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump past the navigation.
- Readable contrast. Text and interactive elements meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios, so they stay legible for low-vision users.
- Scales with you. Text and layout reflow cleanly when you zoom the page or enlarge text, up to and beyond 200 percent, without losing content or function.
- No motion traps. We avoid auto-playing motion, flashing content, and anything that gets in the way of reading at your own pace.
3. An ongoing commitment
Accessibility is never finished. We review the platform as we build, and we fix barriers as we find them or as they are reported to us. If something here does not yet meet the standard we describe, we want to know, and we will correct it.
4. Report a barrier
If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, or you cannot get to something you need, tell us. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and respond as soon as humanly possible, and in no case longer than the timeframe required by law.
