Security

Last updated: June 14, 2026

GRC Careers is run by people who govern security for a living, and we hold our own platform to the standard we expect of everyone else. This page describes how we protect your data and how to report a security concern.

1. How we protect your data

  • We collect the minimum. We ask only for what an account, a job alert, or an employer posting actually needs. We do not store resumes, and when you apply to a role your information goes to that employer, not into a profile we keep.
  • Encryption in transit. The entire site is served over HTTPS. Data moving between your browser and our platform is encrypted.
  • Hardened infrastructure. The platform runs on a modern edge network with managed security controls, including protections that tell humans from bots and block automated attacks.
  • No data sales, no shadow profiles. We do not sell, license, or broker your data, and we do not build behavioral profiles. The less data exists, the less there is to lose.
  • Human review. Every listing passes through a person before it is published, which keeps malicious and misdirected links off the board.

For the full picture of how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy and our Trust and Governance Disclosure.

2. Reporting a vulnerability (responsible disclosure)

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in GRC Careers, we want to hear from you, and we will work with you in good faith to fix it.

  • How to report. Email contact@ai-governance-jobs.com with the subject line "Security." Include enough detail to reproduce the issue: the affected URL or feature, the steps, and the impact.
  • What we ask. Give us a reasonable chance to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure. Do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours, do not degrade the service for others, and stay within the bounds of good-faith testing.
  • Our commitment. We will acknowledge your report, keep you updated, and credit researchers who help us, if they wish. We will not pursue or support legal action against anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability in good faith and follows this policy.

3. Keeping your own account secure

Use a strong, unique password, do not reuse it on other sites, and never share account credentials. If you ever receive a message claiming to be from GRC Careers that asks for your password or payment details, treat it as suspicious and report it to us. We will never ask for your password by email.
