Cyber Counter Intelligence Analyst

The DCSA Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat Directorate Cyber Mission Center's Cyber Engagement Branch is seeking a GG-0132-13 Cyber Counter Intelligence Analyst. Provides analytic, operational, and investigative support for cyber counterintelligence investigations and operations. Develops, promotes, and integrates DCSA cyber counterintelligence initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber foreign intelligence threats. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Conducts Cyber CI analysis activities and coordinates those activities with other national-level Agencies; performs analytical support to on-going and completed cyber/information operations, identifies vulnerabilities to foreign intelligence and security services activity; provides analytic support to leadership related to cyber threat issues; conducts comprehensive analysis of cyber incidents caused by specific intrusion sets using a suite of analytic tools; showcases information sharing and threat awareness; conducts in-depth research, compilation, and analysis of a wide range of complex and sensitive information.
