Air Force Materiel Command is hiring a FOIA and Privacy Act Manager - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY in Multiple Locations. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with implementing policies, procedures and guidance regarding the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act and Civil Liberties programs, reviews, and privacy breaches/incidents. Compliance assessment reviews and inspections for programs. Provides training, guidance, and support to installation. Qualifications: This is a Term/Temp position Not to Exceed __2yrs__; the individual selected for this position may be extended or lead to a permanent position without further competition. Current Federal civilian employees may apply, and if selected, a break in service of at least 3 calendar days may be required prior to appointment to this position. In order to qualify, you must meet the Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience to serve as the organization's subject matter expert for Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Act, and Civil Liberties programs. Provides authoritative guidance, analyzes complex legal and regulatory requirements, manages compliance reviews and information requests, resolves program issues, and provides accurate and timely communications ensuing legal program compliance.
