About the role:

Partner closely with the Application Security (AppSec) team on threat modeling and firmware analysis work, translating compliance requirements into concrete, actionable engineering solutions.
Own Samsara’s FirstNet Program and annual certification activities.
Research and propose solutions to compliance gaps, weighing trade-offs and communicating risk clearly to engineering partners.
Take part in customer and auditor conversations on Samsara device security posture, building toward owning these interactions independently.

Champion, role model, and embed Samsara s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
3+ years of relevant compliance or engineering experience.
