This position is part of the Department of War (DoW), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for: Serving as a Quality Assurance Specialist and assess, evaluate, and monitor resources to ensure acceptablequality and mission assurance standards are met for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Qualifications: You may qualify at the NH-03 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 2 of the 3 specialized experience listed below to be qualified: Planning, performing, or overseeing the manufacturing, assembly, and qualification testing of complex mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and assemblies. Conducting formal process audits, quality evaluations, and surveillance of manufacturing and testing workflows to verify compliance with technical standards and engineering drawings. Implementing and enforcing Quality, Safety, or Mission Assurance (QSMA) principles, policies, risk mitigations, and root-cause corrective action (RCCA) protocols within defense or space systems programs. OR B. Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
