Research Fellow / Senior Fellow, Artificial Intelligence

The Foundation for American Innovation, a nonprofit technology-policy think tank, is hiring Research Fellows and Senior Fellows in Artificial Intelligence to advance pragmatic AI governance at the federal and state levels. Fellows conduct original research, shape policy debates, and convene experts across cybersecurity, AI diffusion, technology competition, societal impacts, and public-sector adoption.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in AI policy, technology policy, law, or technical AI and computer science
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical debates for policymakers
• Intellectual rigor with entrepreneurial initiative and independent project leadership
• Fluency in both technical and policy conversations
• A record of published work (Senior Fellow level)
