What you’ll do As a Risk Operations Associate, you’ll execute and improve the operational programs required to meet financial partner and regulatory requirements, including those of card networks and global financial institutions. You’ll investigate complex partner and merchant activity, make informed decisions, and take ownership of cases from initial review through resolution. This role is well suited to someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and can use sound judgment rather than relying only on a prescribed workflow. Responsibilities include: Investigate partner and merchant activity, identify relevant risks and facts, and take appropriate action based on established policies and sound judgment. Own complex cases from end to end, including research, decision-making, documentation, stakeholder communication, and follow-through. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned operational processes and risk requirements. Liaise between financial partners and Stripe merchants, from venture-backed startups to established institutions.
