Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is hiring for this Financial Crime job in Location Negotiable After Selection, one of the metros GRC Careers tracks for governance, risk, and compliance hiring.

This position is located in Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS), Financial Crimes (FC) Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and supports efforts to prevent and deter fraud, illicit finance, money laundering and terrorist activity against or through banks. This position can be filled at the FDIC Headquarters Office or any FDIC Regional Office. The duty station is determined upon selection and subject to space availability. Qualifications: Qualifying experience is credited from private and public sectors, including paid and unpaid service (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps). Volunteer service builds competencies that translate to paid work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience. See OPM's General Schedule Qualification Standards for details. CG-14: Applicants must complete one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 13 level or above in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Reviewing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) bank examination reports, audit reports, suspicious activity reports, or other applicable documents to analyze and assess compliance with AML-related regulations, policies, and law; 2) Organizing and leading projects within established deadlines; and 3) Representing an organization before government agencies on matters relating to AML/CFT, or other matters relating to fraud or illicit finance, for the purpose of building and maintaining relationships or presenting an organization's perspective on such matters. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements within 30 calendar days of the closing date.
