KPMG is hiring a Manager, SAP AI & Agent Governance in Short Hills, New Jersey. This is a AI Governance job in the governance, risk, and compliance field, with a posted range of $114,095 to $268,180. Review the full details below and apply directly with KPMG.

KPMG is hiring a Manager for SAP AI and Agent Governance in its Advisory practice. The role sits where enterprise AI meets controls: you define what an AI agent is allowed to do inside SAP Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing, and you write the governance that holds it. That means delegated authority, access models, approval thresholds, segregation of duties, and the control frameworks that make agentic processes auditable rather than merely automated. This is one of the clearest examples yet of AI governance moving out of policy documents and into the ERP itself. It asks for at least five years in SAP functional consulting, S/4HANA programs, intelligent automation, enterprise architecture, identity, security or controls work. Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of AI-enabled and agentic business processes across SAP Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other enterprise functions Apply SAP functional and business process expertise to define AI agent responsibilities, delegated authority, access models, approval thresholds, segregation of duties requirements, and governance controls Design governance frameworks for AI agents and other non-human actors, including identity, roles, lifecycle management, monitoring, controls, guardrails, and human oversight requirements Evaluate risks associated with AI-enabled business processes and design practical control frameworks, escalation mechanisms, exception handling, transaction limits, and runtime monitoring capabilities Collaborate with SAP BTP, integration, IAM/IGA, security, cyber, GRC, and AI teams to establish governed access to SAP applications, workflows, APIs, and enterprise data Facilitate client workshops and support engagement delivery while contributing to KPMG methodologies, accelerators, thought leadership, proposals, and go-to-market initiatives for Trusted Agents Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent experience in SAP functional consulting, SAP business process transformation, S/4HANA programs, intelligent automation, AI-enabled transformation, enterprise architecture, identity, security, controls, or related technology initiatives Bachelor'sdegree in business, information systems, engineering, technology, or relatedfield preferred; or minimum of a high school diploma or GED required plus sevenyears of relevant SAP

Full responsibilities and requirements are on KPMG's application page.

About AI governance jobs

AI governance sits at the intersection of policy, risk, and engineering. Teams are standing up model inventories, use-case intake and review, risk classification, and control monitoring as regulation and board scrutiny of AI intensify. Jobs like this one are typically evaluated against frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, and internal model-risk and privacy practices.

How to position yourself for this AI governance job

Strong candidates emphasize experience translating policy into operational controls, working across legal, compliance, security, product, and data teams, documenting AI system risks, and supporting governance processes. In your resume and outreach, tie your experience to how KPMG would apply NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, and internal model-risk and privacy practices, and lead with concrete outcomes rather than duties.
