Auditor

This position serves as an Auditor of the Office of Compliance and Review (OCR), located in the Justice Management Division (JMD). The office provides strategic leadership in the areas of internal controls and oversight of reviews by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Office of the Inspector General (OIG).

Qualifications: To qualify for the position of Auditor, at GS-0511-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements (see Education field below) AND specialized experience listed below. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, I have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service reviewing financial statements and inspecting bookkeeping systems for accuracy; identifying financial risks or potential fraud AND documenting formal audit reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by the 09/29/2026 of this announcement.
