DIRECTOR FOR SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE AND INTEGRATION

You will serve as Director for Supply Chain Performance and Integration, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) lead expert in supply chain policy and performance. Authoritative expert and advisor to COMNAVSUP on Navy supply chain performance, technology employment, and systems integration. Provides senior leadership and oversight to subordinate commands, including Weapon Systems Support and regional FLCs.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications. TQ 1. Extensive experience in planning, designing and executing policy and processes in support of supply chain and related services and associated measurement systems to determine successful performance. TQ 2. Current knowledge of and experience supporting acquisition lifecycle sustainment planning to include exploitation of sustainment planning opportunities in early milestone development. TQ 3. Extensive experience in developing and managing logistics support systems and managing a range of information technology and information system functions. EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): In addition to the Technical Qualification Requirements listed above, all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment will be assessed for executive competency against the following five mandatory ECQs. This includes, when necessary, the ability to lead people through change and to hold individuals accountable. ECQ 5: Achieving Results - This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to achieve both individual and organizational results, and to align results to stated goals from superiors. Note: If you are a member of the SES or have been certified through successful participation in an OPM approved SES Candidate Development Program (SESCDP), or have SES reinstatement eligibility, you do not need to respond to the ECQs. Instead, you should attach proof (e.g., SF-50, Certification by OPM's SES Qualifications Review Board (QRB)) of your eligibility for noncompetitive appointment to the SES. This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP), as defined by the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) that has a significant level of responsibility to the success of major acquisition programs. A three-year tenure agreement is required, based upon the position. Additionally, in accordance with DON policy the incumbent must meet the requirements cited below, unless a waiver is granted by the DON Senior Acquisition Executive (SAE) designated approving official: a. Advanced certification in Life Cycle Logistics Career Field, Acquisition Position Category (L) within 48 months of assignment to the position. b. 10 years acquisition experience in an AWF position, at least 4 years of which was performed while assigned to a CAP. c. Other special statutory requirements as applicable to the position. d. A minimum of 80 Continuous Learning points must be earned every two years. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
