This position is in the Records Management Division (RMD), Office of the Chief Information Officer, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The incumbent serves as the Records and information Management Specialist responsible for ensuring that agency records are managed in a manner that facilitates prompt, courteous, accurate and complete response to public and other inquiries in accordance with all legal requirements.
Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must meet the following: GS-13: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service (Experience may have been paid or unpaid). Specialized experience is defined as experience in the following: Advising on records management policies and procedures. Leading projects to implement records and information management programs and policies. Utilizing Federal Records Act for retention, safeguarding, preservation, and disposition of managing records.
