Qualifications: You must meet the qualification (experience and/or education) requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Selective Factor(s): Selective factors are applied as a part of the minimum qualification requirements. Relevant selective factor experience must be well documented in your resume. Failure to meet a selective factor will result in you not receiving further consideration. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your license) In addition to the minimum qualifications described, you must meet the following selective factor for the GS-11 grade level: Valid and current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license to apply professional auditing and accounting knowledge of theory, concepts, principles, techniques and practices of GAGAS and GAAP to solve moderately complex market and financial auditing and accounting issues. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your license) In addition to the education required for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience conducting audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards or Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
