GRC Careers: Governance, Risk and Compliance JobsGovernance · Risk · Compliance Careers

Nine out of ten job sites sell what they learn about you. We built one that has nothing to sell.

Not minimized. Not anonymized. Not held to a high standard. Nothing. No analytics, no pixels, no profile, no cookie banner, because there is nothing to ask your permission for.

A privacy researcher at Incogni went through the major job platforms and found that eight of the nine they examined sell user data under the California definition of a sale. ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn and Monster scored worst for collection and sharing. That is the industry we work in. We are not going to pretend otherwise and we are not going to be polite about it.

Think about what you are handing over

A job search is the most dangerous thing a working person puts online. Not embarrassing. Dangerous. If you are employed and looking, exposure does not cost you convenience, it costs you your income. The nurse, the warehouse supervisor, the development director, the teacher who cannot be seen looking. None of them agreed to be inventory.

The boards know this. They collect anyway, because the record is worth money to them and the risk belongs to you.

Here is ours. Go check it.

Measured October 10, 2026. One request to each homepage, ordinary browser, no JavaScript run, nothing agreed to. Counting cookies set and third-party tracking scripts loaded.

Site Cookies Trackers
ai-governance-jobs.com zero as a visitorzero
grccareers.ai zerozero
execsearches.com one, ours, named sessionzero

Log in as an employer and this site sets one cookie, grc_sess, which keeps you signed in. ExecSearches does the same with a cookie named session. Both hold a random session identifier and nothing else. Neither is sold, shared, or joined to anything, and nobody outside this company can read either one. Browse without logging in and you get nothing at all. That has been written on our cookie policy since June 13, 2026, and the table above is what the measurement found.

Do not believe a word of that. Open your developer tools and look at the cookie list on this page. It is empty. Look at the network tab. Every request goes to this domain. View source and search for gtag, googletagmanager or fbq and watch nothing come back. Then go run the same test on the site you used before this one.

We would rather you used somebody else's scanner than took our word. That is the whole point. A privacy claim you cannot check is marketing.

This is not a setting. It is the architecture.

There is no plugin here, no tag manager, no analytics account switched off that somebody could switch back on. The pages are built from our own source and served as static files. There is no mechanism by which a tracker could be added, which means there is no vendor to trust and no configuration to get wrong.

The site sits behind Cloudflare so it does not fall over under attack. On a normal visit it sets no cookie, which is what we measured. If Cloudflare decides a request looks like an attack it can set a security cookie while it checks. That is a shield, it carries no profile of you, and we never see it. We are telling you that because we would rather say it first.

They told us it was impossible

The line in this industry is that you cannot be found without harvesting the people who find you. That you need the data to rank, to fund the thing, to compete.

Wrong. This board is found, and it got there on writing that answers real questions and engineering anyone can inspect. Not on watching a single person. We proved the trade nobody wanted to test, and we are not apologizing for building it a different way, because the different way turned out to be the right one.

We want the rest of them to copy this

Seriously. Copy it. Strip the pixels, cancel the data contracts, take down the banner nobody reads. We are not protecting a moat here, we are trying to end a practice. Every board that matches this standard is a win, and the people looking for work will never know whose idea it was. Fine by us.

Removing a tracker takes an afternoon. Unselling ten years of résumés is not possible. That is the only gap we care about, and it is the one they made themselves.

Questions or suggestions go to contact@ai-governance-jobs.com. A person reads them.
