Stakeholder Communication Skills

GRC work depends on influencing people who own the process, system, budget, or decision. Skills include active listening, structured interviewing, facilitation, audience analysis, constructive challenge, negotiation, conflict management, concise writing, and follow-up.

Applied communicators translate without distorting. They can explain a technical weakness to an executive, a legal duty to an engineer, and a business constraint to an auditor. Demonstrate competence with three versions of the same issue: a technical finding, a one-page management brief, and a short committee presentation. Preserve the facts while changing emphasis and vocabulary.
